In this course, you will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel. It also enables you to use our open studio if you are new to ceramics. We will teach you the essentials of working with clay, show you important techniques for using the wheel, and finally you will glaze your finished pieces. Sufficient clay, glazes, and the firing of your pieces are included in the price. Course sessions: - 1st session (3 h): Learning the basics of clay and throwing on the wheel - 2nd session (3 h): Trimming your thrown pieces, optionally adding handles or details, or painting with engobes - 3rd session (2 h): Learning about glazes and glazing your fired pieces This course always takes place at 6 pm. Minimum age: 16 years
